In this guideline, it states that drugs are also high in acid. For those who are taking drugs that say refluxes acid didn’t know that what they’re taking can cause bigger problems to their body in the future. The guideline suggests that people who will be trying the alkaline diet should first take a couple of weeks in detox to flush out toxins from the body and help it adjust to the way of eating that the alkaline diet requires.
