What's a good high protein diet for building muscle and staying lean?

I am on a diet right now, have lost a few pounds, losing fat, and getting lean. Trying to get a little tighter, but soon I want to start bulking and actually put on some muscle. I want to stay defined, while gaining strength. I was just eating a lot of protein, keeping the carbs low until before a work out, but I am just wondering if there is something else I should be doing. LIke I said, now I am just running and keeping the carbs and calories low, trying to lean down and lose fat. But soon I will want to bulk. I just want to make sure I can still see my muscles, but still get strong. Any suggestions?
